What is Spiritual Warfare?

Have you ever asked yourself this question? Maybe you grew up in the Church and no one discussed spiritual warfare with you. As an adult Christian, you may have started to hear words and phrases such as:

…“Put on the whole armor of God…” (Ephesians 6:11).

… “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age…” (Ephesians 6:12)

…”Resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).

These words, pulled from well-known passages in the Bible, can be uneasy on the mind. However, you can’t deny the fact that sometimes your life experiences make you feel as if the world is against you, or that someone, or something, is holding you down or tripping you up with every step you take.

Saints, this is spiritual warfare. Whether you understand it or not, it is around you. And Believers are those who the enemy attempts to trip up the most.

Unpscking a few common questions about spiritual warfare, namely:

1. Is spiritual warfare biblical?

2. Should I fear spiritual warfare?

3. Why haven’t I heard much about spiritual warfare in church?

4. How do I identify a spiritual battle?

5. How do I overcome spiritual battles?

Spiritual warfare is a Christian concept of the ongoing fight against supernatural evil forces. There are many forms of spiritual warfare, including prayer, decrees, and declarations, fasting, laying on of hands, and anointing with oil.  Each of these forms serves different purposes and may or may not be seen as elements of “warfare” to those unfamiliar with the concept of spiritual war.

Many times, something will be sent by the enemy to frighten, distract and destroy the task that God has intended for us to complete. Touching what we are not assigned to can often have dramatic and sometimes deadly results, because we have chosen to operate outside of alignment of God’s will.

1. Is Spiritual Warfare Biblical? Yes, spiritual warfare is biblical. We have to wrap our hearts and minds around this fact first. If we don’t understand this fundamental truth, we cannot walk in victory in our daily lives. Some say that as Christians we are immune from the enemy’s attacks; Jesus won the war, so there are no more battles. In part, this is true. Jesus did win the war for our salvation, but there are still many spiritual battles we need to win on a daily basis if we are to truly live in Christ, find a place in His Kingdom of peace now, and experience breakthroughs with worries that have plagued us for years.

Unfortunately, this blind thinking opens up weak spots for the devil to prey. Blindness manifests itself as a lack of vigilance. Satan tempted Jesus, yet He was acutely aware of the evil forces around him, leading Him to a path of victory over the temptations.

1 Peter 5:8-9  “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”

We are in a battle of some sort every day. It’s not a battle we can see, but this knowledge allows us to be more aware so we understand how to defend ourselves. The enemy can never take our salvation, but he can tear up the outer courts of our lives, introducing fear, doubt, and unbelief into our thoughts.

2. Should I Fear Spiritual Warfare?

Your faith in Christ answers this question. If you belong to the Lord, you don’t have to fear! The devil will tempt you to fear, but cling to the hope you have in your identity clothed in the Messiah’s righteousness. Yeshua Messiah demonstrated His victory over Satan when He died on the cross and rose on the third day.

Jesus proclaimed that we have been given authority over the power of the enemy. Therefore, when you are afraid, declare this truth in Yeshua’s name. “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”—Luke 10:19

3. Why Haven’t I Heard Much About Spiritual Warfare In Church? In our Western culture, Satan’s tools of attack manifest in a number of ways…

• Lying

• Anger

• Unforgiveness

• Accusations

• Doubt

• Fear

• Depression

• Bitterness and resentment

• Pride

• Anxiety

They are often dismissed as things we must simply struggle through or use our own strength to persevere. These temptations and sins usually go unnoticed and undealt with for many years. They start out small… and grow into something that can be all-consuming.

Many don’t recognize the spiritual component associated with these burdensome yokes, but they slowly steal away the abundant life God desires for His children.

Ultimately, it goes back to the most significant command we often forget: “Seek God above all else.” His Spirit reveals the attacks and provides a way out.

“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear ”—1 Corinthians 10:13

The devil uses our weak minds of forgetfulness to accomplish his will of chaos. For this reason, God commands us to “remember,” over and over again in His Word.

4. How Do I Identify Spiritual Battles?

The enemy uses our emotions and circumstances to bring about confusion. He is the father of lies… remember this! When you find yourself listening to those whispers in your ear that lead to a lack of peace or confusion about something that was once clear, this is a sign the enemy is trying to distract you from God’s purpose for your life.

Here are a few statements you might say that indicate a spiritual battle is roaring in your life.

• I have a lack of peace.

• I’m going through a trial, and I want to quit.

• I am angry and frustrated about my situation.

• I can’t forget my broken past.

• I doubt God’s purpose for my life.

In consistency lies the victory. As soon as there is a lull in your spiritual life, the enemy is eager to put on the pressure.

5. How Do I Overcome Spiritual Battles?

You overcome spiritual battles by the Word of God.  “But He answered and said, ‘It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”’”—Matthew 4:4

1. Start with a humble and repentant heart in prayer.

    2. Ask Him to reveal how you are engaging in the battle.

  3. Declare and decree His promises.

  4. Proclaim your identity in Christ.

  5. Thank God for who He is and what He promises to do.

God’s Words of Encouragement…

• “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”—John 16:33

• “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”—Romans 12:21

•. “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”—1 Corinthians 15:57

•. “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”—1 John 4:4

•. “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”—Revelation 3:21

Gird Up The Loin Of Truth

I Peter 1:13 NKJV “Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;”
The enemies always tries to convince you that God is distant which is a lie. Remember God lives inside of you! Can you be closer than that? God within you, who cans separate you from the love of God? No one. Life has to rise up from within. The enemy tries to convince you that you have to get something from God. No, you need to allow God to rise up from within you. He is in you and life arises from within you. You need a mindset that is rooted from your spirit, not your soul.

The inner man of the spirit knows how to think in difficult times. The only way for that thought process to rise up is by giving praise and thanksgiving. It is rejoicing. In the giving of thanks or confessing who He is and who He is to you as your Lord and your Shepherd leading! Thank you Lord You are my healer, Thank you Lord You are my Provider, Thank you Lord You are my wisdom, Thank you Lord You are my Protector; Thank you Lord You are my Vindicator; that causes the inner man to rise up and come to the forefront in your circumstances; it is not trying to think from within, but it is worshiping the God within you and knowing as you worship that anointing rises up within you and so do all the resources of heaven also. His mind within you comes to the forefront.

Beloved, you and I have a secret place in God where I can know His heart, His mind and His purpose for me. Thanksgiving creates blessing. Continuous rejoicing opens us up to increase. Life is about possibilities not negatives. Jesus said, “All things are possible, only believe” (Mark 9:23).

Thanksgiving has a creative power to produce good. It is good for us to rejoice.  Consider joy it is a fruit of the spirit meaning this is God’s personality. It is the way He is. As we sing FOR joy, that is what becomes imparted.  We are expanded on the inside. Our eyes are watchful for blessing, increase and favor. Goodness is drawn to us as we lift up Jesus in our hearts. We make ourselves attractive to favor and blessing. We are able to look at life and circumstances differently.

I Thessalonians 5:16-18 NKJV  “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Rejoicing increases faith which is the spiritual equivalent of endorphins. Faith increases our focus and readiness to see God in everything and lean into Him. When we give thanks our ability to trust and believe increases dramatically, because praise produces power

Rejoicing overcomes any inherent negativity and aligns our heart with the continuity of favor. When we rejoice as a lifestyle then life is less of a roller coaster. It flows. It is more stable and even. We experience more rest, more peace, more joyfulness and our capacity to believe cannot be diminished by events.

Who is the Holy Spirit?

Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Blessed Trinity. He exercises the power of the Father and the son in creation and redemption. He fulfills Father’s redemptive purpose in you. The Holy Spirit is the power by which believers come to Christ. He causes us to see with new eyes of faith. He is closer to us than we . are to ourselves!

The Holy Spirit’s attitude and ministry are marked by generosity. His chief function is to illuminate Jesus’ teaching and to glorify His person. He works in the life of the individual believers. He convicts us so we live righteously. He pronounces judgement. Holy Spirit helps you walk and live (Romans 8:3-6) and abound  in hope with power( Roman’s 15:13).
‭‭
Romans‬ ‭8:3-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬“For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

Romans‬ ‭15:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
The Holy Spirit reveals to Christian the deep things of God (1Corinthians 2:10-12). He causes us to know the mystery of ChristI
( Ephesians 3:3-5). The Holy Spirit acts with God and Christ as the pledge or taught guarantee by which believers are seated for the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 1:21-22). He works corporately in the church. He opposes evil.

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭2:10-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬  “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:3-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬  “how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:”

‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭1:21-22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬  “Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.”

This is a year of the Holy Spirit Movement! A Kingdom Movement! Acts 2;9 &19  A new era  approaching the season to break all captivity from your promise! It’s the Hebrew Month call “AYIN” a season of watching! You must be freed to make your decision at the crossroad! The season of Angels! This is a season of Sending! The Ten year war is ahead! See clearly now….There’s a Great War in the prophetic realm ahead! The third year to dig around, fertilize to harvest fruits or cut! (Luke 13:6-9 NKJV)

Luke 13:6-9 NKJV  “He also spoke this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’ But he answered and said to him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.’

The is the year to war with Religious Spirits! Religion is one of the greatest hindrances to the work of  God! The Holy Spirit is the Restrainer of evil in the world! Religion is the Restrainer of the Holy Spirit in the World! To overcome this, we the church must hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church!

Five Kinds of Waits/Intimacy as Warriors Bride of Christ

Five kind of waits/intimacy as a warrior bride of Christ:

1. Wait is to wait with quiet trust. It is a form of waiting that is built upon deep relational trust. When we have come to know the Lord well enough, our hearts can be still and trust in Him in the midst of life’s worst storms.

2. Wait is the more commonly thought of, “waiting patiently.” It is from the place of trust developed through intimate relationship that we come to know, without a doubt, that God will eventually come through, and we are content in the waiting.

3. Wait implies an active faith. We may possess a deep relational trust in God, but that faith requires action. We must wait on the Lord with action while being full of expectancy for what He has promised, rather than just sitting back and hoping or wondering if He will come through.

Your assurance that God will move compels you to live a life of radical obedience, make bold declarations, and take risky steps of faith without losing heart if there is a prolonged season before seeing any fruit. You rest assured in God’s promise that you and your generations will reap of what you sow.

4. Wait means “to be braided together with something or someone.” This is the kind of waiting referred to in Isaiah 40:31; “Those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength.” Wait here is translated from qavah in Hebrew, which means “to bind together by twisting; to become braided together.” Through this waiting we become one with the Lord.

In the waiting process that occurs from a relational position, the Lord draws us close to Him in such a way that our hearts become one.

Bound together like the strands of a cord, we feel the same emotions and think the same thoughts, resulting in a multiplication of strength for accomplishing His will. It is the fulfillment of Proverbs 16:3, “Roll your works on the Lord, commit and trust them completely to Him, and He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable with His will. And so shall your plans be established and succeed.” (Amplified Version)

5. Wait wasn’t “wait,” it was: “W-E-I-G-H-T.”

This refers to the heavy, substantive, weighty presence of God’s glory. The Hebrew word for glory actually means heavy or weighty.

The Lord is saying, “If you will learn to wait on me in these days—trusting, patiently, expectantly and becoming one with Me—I will come with the weight of my glory. I am coming to awaken cities and regions, and I will cause my weighty, shekinah, abiding glory to dwell among you and within you.

Just as Adam was crowned with My glory and saturated in My presence, bearing My image and likeness, so too, will I crown you with My glory. I will put my weighty presence on you, and you shall be My government in the earth.

You will walk in great authority and power with signs, wonders and miracles following.

As in the days of the book of Acts church, people will recognize Me through you and you will say, such as I have, I give to you (Acts 3:6.)

Now is the time for the sons of God to be made manifest in the earth and the whole earth filled with My glory! Now is the time; the masses are coming!”

For too long, we have lived far below the revelation God wants us to walk in. He’s now summoning us into a higher place of understanding, where we are fully aware that the God of glory lives inside of us, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and the same power that was in Jesus resides within us to perform and exceed His supernatural works.

The Lord desires to raise up many “heavyweight” men and women, who carry the cloud of God’s glory into every room and into every sphere of society, to deliver and transform entire nations!

He is waiting on you; are you willing to wait, wait, wait, wait on Him until the glorious weight of His presence and power intensifies within you? You may need to turn your TV or social media off for a season, or clear some things off your calendar so you can have more of Him, but I promise you, He is definitely worth waiting for!

Seven Keys to Transfer of Wealth

Seven Keys to Transfer of Wealth:

1. Recognize the greatest wealth is Spiritual!

Natural and Spiritual Wealth

The Greatest Wealth is Spiritual Wealth

Proverbs 3:13-15 NKJV  “Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding; For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies, And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.”

Proverbs 8:10-11 NKJV “Receive my instruction, and not silver, And knowledge rather than choice gold; For wisdom is better than rubies, And all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her.”

Proverbs 16:16 NKJV.  “How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.”

Proverbs 20:15 NKJV. “There is gold and a multitude of rubies, But the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.”

Proverbs 22:1 NKJV. “A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, Loving favor rather than silver and gold.”

Proverbs 8: 12-21 NKJV.  ““I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And find out knowledge and discretion. The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength. By me kings reign, And rulers decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, All the judges of the earth. I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me. Riches and honor are with me, Enduring riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, And my revenue than choice silver. I traverse the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice, That I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, That I may fill their treasuries.”

Isaiah 55:1-2 NKJV. ““Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.”

B. Wealth in the Spirit precedes wealth in the   Natural

2 Kings 4:1 NKJV.  “A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the LORD. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.””

II Kings 4:7 NKJV.  “Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.””

Luke 5:4-8 NKJV.  “When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!””

John 21:3 NKJV.  “Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We are going with you also.” They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.”

John 21:6 NKJV.  “And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some. ” So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.”

2. Put your trust in God not in money

Trust in God not in Money

Mark 10:24 NKJV. “And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God!”

Mark 10:29-30 NKJV.  “So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.”

1 Timothy 6:10 NKJV.  “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

I Timothy 6: 17-19 NKJV  “Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”

3. Having a Generous Spirit

1 Timothy 6:18 NKJV  “Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share,”

Proverbs 11: 25 NKJV.  “The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.”

4. Believe that God wants you to prosper!

1 Timothy 6:17 NKJV  “Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.”

God wants to Richly supply all things to enjoy!

Psalms 35: 27 NKJV.  “Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.””

Proverbs 20:22 NKJV. “The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.”

Matthew 25: 29 NKJV. “‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance;

5. Ask God for divine connections and     alignment

Luke 8:1-3 NKJV. “Now it came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him, and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities—Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons, and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others who provided for Him from their substance.”

Philippians 4:17 NKJV. “Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.”

6. Be Faithful Now!  Discipline Self Management! Money and Time management is really SELF Management!

Matthew 25:29 NKJV. “‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.”

7. Prepare s Plan

Acts 15:26 NKJV.  “‘After this I will return And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, And I will set it up;”

Holy Spirit gives life to the Word of God. Why the Spirit and the Word are Essential

Holy Spirit gives life to the Word of God. Reasons why the Spirit and the Word of God both are so essentials in our walk with Him:

The Spirit without the Word will produce fanaticism. I’m sure you have encountered people who can dance and shout before the Lord, yet their lives don’t seem to ring true? Why? There is no grounding, no anchor, no doctrine.

The Word without the Spirit produces formalism. Scripture warns of those, “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof” (2 Timothy 3:5 KJV). It is sad to hear someone in the clergy who only speaks words. We may comment, “Oh, what a wonderful speaker,” yet no lives are changed.

The Word and the Spirit produce balance. I often hear this phrase: “If you have the Word alone, you will dry up. If you have the Spirit alone, you will blow up. If you have the Word and the Spirit, you will grow up.”

It’s Abba Father God’s desire that we have both value the Word and its power! Jesus said, “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63). And Peter declared, “Prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” (2 Peter 1:21)

Some believers read the Bible “just to read the Bible” as a form of good literature, but it must be more. They don’t absorb it or obey it. Others pray out of routine and it becomes a meaningless exercise. In James 1:22 God’s Word says: “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves”. Our fellowship with the Lord must never be the result of duty; it must spring from delight!

Breath of the Spirit is a necessity in your spiritual life as your words cannot travel without your breath, neither will God’s. His Word and His breath are united. Scripture tells us, “By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth” (Psalm 33:6).

Jesus declared, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). The word “proceeds” is present tense. God is speaking to us now! Our Heavenly Father speaks through the voice of the Holy Ghost. He is the channel that carries God’s voice. The Spirit is the breath of God. It should come as no surprise that when you take the Spirit out of the Word it will not touch you.

Apostle Paul has said: “The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life” (2 Corinthians 3:6).  We know “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God” (2 Timothy 3:16). The word “inspiration” is from the Greek word for breathing. It speaks of inhaling and exhaling. The in-breathing of God occurs when the Spirit releases the Word into our being. Without the Holy Spirit, it is impossible to truly hear what God is saying. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 2:7). That is why we must always come before the Lord, with our Bible open to read and say, “Holy Spirit, feed me. Show me. Help me to receive from the living Word of God.”

Some Christian just speak it  “Say it. Just say it! With His stripes I am healed! Just say it!” They fail to realize that without the breath of the Holy Spirit carrying those words, they are only sounds, only desires. There must be God’s Spirit. There must be His life!

We must “Walk Through the Fire!” Foundations of the faith are crucial as a Christian believer! When the storms comes and when the earth in your life shakes beneath your feet, will your faith hold? Asked yourself this: “Do you face adversity?” Based on the authority of God’s Word I can guarantee it! There is no such thing as a storm-free passage to God’s Glory!! “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God” (Acts 14:22); The Message version says more to the point: “Anyone signing up for the kingdom of God has to go through plenty of hard times.”

God Almighty declares in Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.”  God does not say “if” but “when”! Without a life that is anchored to the cross, every wind of false doctrine can blow you off course. Only a firm relationship with Jesus and His continual revelation can keep you from hopelessly drifting.

The Bible Scripture declares: “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil” (Hebrews 6:19). With God we have a firm foundation that will last throughout eternity!

I pray that you will ask Jesus to increasingly become your foundation as you seek the truth of the Spirit-inspired Word to encompass your life and you spend time with Him in prayer. Upon these foundations, your life will stands no matter what! Be bless as you are God’s Delight and the Apple of His eyes!

Word of encouragement for the saints

Beloved Saints of God Receive this word of encouragement:

The Lord your God is in your midst, A Warrior who saves… He will rejoice over you with joy; He will be quiet in His love [making no mention of your past sins], He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy… and songs of deliverance!

“Behold, at that time I am going to deal with all your oppressors; I will save the lame and gather the scattered, and I will turn their shame into praise and renown in every land [where they have suffered]. At that time I will bring you in, Yes, at the time I gather you together; For I will make you a name and a praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes [and freedom] before your eyes,” Says the Lord.

Hallelujah!!! Thank you, LORD, God!! I believe! I receive! I activate the manifestation and fulfillment of  God’s WORD in my life and the lives of my children. I declare that the Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet and makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility], in Jesus mighty and matchless name. AMEN!!

— Habakkuk 3:19 NKJV

“The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills. To the Chief Musician. With my stringed instruments.”

Zephaniah 3: 17,19-20 NKJV

17 “The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

19 Behold, at that time I will deal with all who afflict you; I will save the lame, And gather those who were driven out; I will appoint them for praise and fame In every land where they were put to shame.

20 At that time I will bring you back, Even at the time I gather you; For I will give you fame and praise Among all the peoples of the earth, When I return your captives before your eyes,” Says the LORD.”

holy spirit ministries

The Five Fold Ministry, A Dream Team Sent from Heaven!  Called to train , equip and teach  the saints until …“we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:13 (NASB)

The Five Fold Ministry :

1.  Evangelists-  help us discover the kingdom through new birth in the Spirit.

2.  Pastors help us discover and maintain the unity of the Spirit as we become living stones which are being knit together into a spiritual house.

3.  Teachers help us gain a revelation of Christ along with how we are to walk in the Spirit to produce the fruit of the Spirit in and through our lives.

4.  Prophets help us discover our gifts and calling and how to respond accurately to the Spirit by hearing His voice and stepping into the supernatural realm in faith.

5.  Apostles help to nurture our dream and put feet to the vision in our hearts.  They help us discover our inheritance in the saints as they equip us to align to do bold exploits.

THE OFFICE Of FIVE FOLD MINISTRY:

3. Teacher – Logical Thinker/Implementer

4. Evangelist – Persuasive Communicator

5. Pastor – Human Resource Counselor

The Gifts and ministry of the Holy Spirit work in manifold ways and is not limited to a one approach. The Bible talks about the seven spirits yet refers to one and the same Spirit manifesting His completeness in different ways.

Some are open to revelation but not learning or teaching. The humble is open to learning, education and revelation.

VISION means to SEE. All those in the fivefold ministry must have a vision or see something in the area of their ministries. Spiritual sight is the ability to see by revelation what needs to be done when and how. We all need vision to do His work effectively.

THE TASK OF FIVE FOLD MINISTRY :

Apostle – Mission

Prophet – Vision

Evangelist – Commission

Teacher – Passion

We need a sense of Mission and Commission. We need a sense of vision and passion with Compassion to do effectively the task before us.

Flow in the Fruit of the Holy Spirit

Many believers who flow regularly in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, but not many who flow in the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. What most people don’t realize is how important the Fruit of the Holy Spirit is in their lives. It is the formation of the character of Jesus Christ and the representation of Him on the inside of each and every believer.

The Holy Spirit has two main purposes in each of our lives. The first is on the inside of you, transforming us into the Image of Christ and maturing the Fruit inside of us: Galatians 4:19

“My little children, for whom I am again suffering birth pangs until CHRIST IS COMPLETELY AND PERMANENTLY FORMED (molded) WITHIN YOU,”

The second one is the operation of the Holy Spirit through the gifts manifesting on the outside for all those around us:

Acts 1:8  “But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has COME UPON YOU, and you shall be MY WITNESSES in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.”

Beloved remember, Gods Glory manifests itself through those with Powerful Character not necessarily powerful gifting. Those who flow in the gifts will see many incredible Signs, Wonders and Miracles but only those with real Fruit of the Holy Spirit Flowing through their lives will see His Glory manifest in the ways we’ve been crying out for.

The manifestation of the Sons and Daughters of God will be accompanied by the Glory of God which runs in the Family. They will act like Dad, Move like Dad, talk like Dad and look like Dad, because they belong to Him and He lives in them. A hireling can operate under the authority of his master but only the real offspring can manifest the Family characteristics.

While greatly love and appreciate the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, they are no substitute for the operation of Gods glory upon each of our lives. It’s time that the church didn’t just flow with incredible gifting, but also the Operation of Power Fruit which will exhibit the Glory of God. Only from seeking the Face of Heavenly Father will we see true transformation into the Image of Jesus.

Psalms 24:6 “This is the generation [description] of those who seek Him, who seek Your face, O God of Jacob. Selah!
